Our Philosophy
We Believe that a well-rounded child becomes a healthy and contributing adult. In order to achieve this goal, a child education must start early and include more than academics, it must encompass awareness and introduction of one's culture and the culture of others in the world around them. We belive this goal is accomplished through a well-balanced curriculum.
Dawning Village's Philosophy is one that firmly believes that every child should be treated equally and with deep responsiveness geared toward their needs. Our purpose is to create in every child a self-image where the child cand explore the world around him/her witha positive feeling about himself/herself and others. Therefore Dawning Village Dcc should provide an environment of experiences that promote respect for the children, the families, and the community.
Our Mission
The mission of Dawning Village Dcc is to enable people through education and involvement in decision-making, to gain greater control over their own lives and to make a greater contribution to their community.
Education is a lifelong experiences, which is not limited to the classroom. Dawning village provides a sense of community for the children, parents and staff. We recognize and ensure parents' right to be involved in the decision making process in all programs.
Upcoming Events:
Graduation- 6.10.2016
Every year Dawning Village Dcc throw a huge end of the year performance. Children In the UPK classrooms perform a graduation march. The ceremony is a symbolic moving up for all of the children as they will be headed off to new classes in the fall. Each room will perform a song or dance for parents, family and friends.
Light refreshments will be served.
